This course gives you a good knowledge of the tax implications of doing business internationally. You will learn to assimilate and understand the main international tax rules; how to apply these rules in different geographic, business, and legal environments; and discover creative tax planning solutions.

 The objective of this course is to instil a deeper understanding of a companies’ economics and financial performance.  You will learn to read financial statements for the purpose of analysing a company’s business model and economics and how to apply credit risk analysis methods to assess an organisation’s economic value. The course will give you the skills to improve profitability and valuation ratios by making appropriate and relevant adjustments to accounts. You will learn to use a structured and systematic approach to assess the credit worthiness of a borrower, quantify Expected Loss in case of default, and structure a transaction to mitigate this risk. Advanced elements of the course will include a presentation of rating methodologies, a transaction analysis to understand the risks attached to different financial products and a review of the main structuring techniques. 

 The “Advanced Strategies” course introduces the latest trends in strategic thinking. You will learn to identify and discuss emerging concepts in strategy. Completion of this course will teach you how to integrate new corporate forms and alternative forms of competitive strategies including corporate political activities.

 This is a case-based course developed to deepen your understanding of corporate finance concepts and how to apply them to a variety of real business situations. You will learn to approach complicated corporate finance problems using corporate strategy, valuation techniques, and capital structure theories. Topics include: valuation of difficult-to-value companies, real options and strategic investment decisions, the choice among different methods of financing, corporate risk management, and managing interest rate exposure.

 This course analyses the main financial and regulatory issues affecting banks, financial institutions and other creditors.  It examines the motivation,  incentives created, and financial consequences for firms operating in various legal environments.

 The purpose of this course is to explore the issues of valuation, funding and risk management from the point of view of the financial manager of a multinational corporation with operations in more than one country. You will gain a sound understanding of the key financial markets and instruments that facilitate trade and investment activity on a global scale.

 This course teaches the fundamentals of the Real Options method and the underlying mindset. You will gain hands-on experience on the use and application of Real Options by working through multiple concrete exercises.  

 The course is designed to give you a theoretical and practical knowledge of financial statements, their main accounting features and some of the principal accounting issues related to financial statements preparation under international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS).

This course will enhance your ability to comprehend the fundamental links between the economic substance of business transactions and/or contracts and the overall reporting system developed to account for these transactions and/or contracts. You will learn of some of the most important financial statement items; with a special focus on their accounting representations (e.g., goodwill/badwill, revenue recognition, derivatives and hedge accounting, lease accounting, etc.).

 The objective of this course is to give you proficiency in the key strategic, financial and structuring concepts of M&A deals. The course puts together a comprehensive analysis of debt and equity, long-term finance options, and other debt and equity restructurings for firms around the world. You will learn to analyse the motivation and consequences of each of these policies in an international context. 

 The Structured Finance course aims to provide you with an overview of the main structured finance products used for bank and capital market funding by corporations, highlighting the CFO’s and treasurers’ rationale, the lenders’ perspectives (whether commercial banks, multilaterals or export credit agencies (ECA’s), and Associated Advisory services (fiscal, accounting, legal, audit and rating). You will learn how transactions are structured, the risk-return character of various collateralized debt products, and their application in the financial management of corporations. 

 This course will give you a dynamic perspective of organizations through process analysis. You will learn to create a culture based on Process Management. And how to identify and implement best practices by understanding the relationship between process management and benchmarking. This course will give you the tools and know-how to formalize and analyse processes and create different models for organizational performance.

Admission to the EDHEC Master programmes is highly selective. Admission decisions are made on the basis of your overall profile as reflected in the application pack.

EDHEC offers various scholarships & financial aids based on merit and financial need of the student. The French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs also offers a large number of grants and scholarships. Lastly, students accepted to EDHEC are entitled to apply for private loans to cover the cost of their tuition fees.

The EIFFEL Scholarship offers financial support to high-achieving international candidates. It awards about €1200 per month. The scholarship is financed and managed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development

What's the difference between the MiM and MSc?

  • The EDHEC Master in Management is a 2-year programme designed for students under 29 seeking to increase their general management skills. Also known as "Grande Ecole", the programme awards students a double degree: Year 1: Master in Management degree and Year 2: Master of Science degree
  • Our MSc are specialised programmes accessible to students who wish to acquire a new knowledge in a specific field or further strengthen their existing expertise.


Is there any help for students on campus regarding housing?

  • Once officially enrolled, you will be assisted to find a suitable accommodation either in the EDHEC residence or in privately owned flats. You will also have access to our Blackboard system in which you will find much needed information to prepare your move to France. EDHEC's International Office is familiar with the VISA formalities of most countries and will provide you with the necessary papers. You may contact the International Office to express your concerns about your visa application, provided you have already checked the necessary pages on the Welcome Guide and contacted your local Embassay first. One of the requirements for most VISA applications is proof of accommodation in France. Again the international Office is on hand to provide you with a list of apartments, halls of residence and other types of housing according to your criteria. You can even "visit" them virtually using our new Housing website. The team will do everything they can to make arrangements with the owner and secure your reservation. It will also pick you up from the airport on your day of arrival (when possible) and take you directly to your new home.

Is GMAT compulsory?

  • The GMAT test is compulsory. Applicants with a solid work experience may apply for a waiver. However, GMAT waivers remain exceptional.

Why is GMAT compulsory?

  • EDHEC is accredited EQUIS, AASCSB and AMBA. We are obliged to maintain high quality among students and the GMAT is a good measure of this quality.

Can I add an unofficial GMAT score report to my application file?

  • You will get an unofficial score report immediately after the test and which you sould send to the admissions office. This document will provisionally be accepted in your application file.

Can I send the application file and sit the GMAT later?

  • Yes, but you do need to indicate the test date that you have set in your application file In this case, your application file will be kept in a waiting file until receipt of your scores.

EDHEC offers scholarships and financial aid to candidates with excellent profiles. External financial aid is also available to EDHEC applicants.

What is the EIFFEL Scholarship?

  • The EIFFEL Scholarship programme offers financial support to high-potential candidates of over € 1000 per month. Applications for the EIFFEL Scholarship need to be submitted to EDHEC before December 1st.


When the tuition fees must be paid?

  • Once accepted by the Selection Committee, you will receive by email a tuition fees payment's schedule. You must make your first payment in order to secure your seat into the programme and get your enrolment letter.

How does the financial aid apply to the tuition fees?

  • Financial aid applies to the second and third instalment for the MSc programme and to the second, third and fourth instalment for the MIM programme.

What is the EDHEC Career Center?

  • The Student Career Centre is dedicated to help students find a job or an internship. The Centre receives every year over 14 000 job and internship offers.

Complementary courses in French are offered to all international students enrolled in our MSc programmes. Our French classes cover all learning levels, from complete beginner to advanced study. The goal is to support your acculturation to French culture and give you the linguistic foundation—grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening—to express yourself in the French language.
