This course enables you to develop sustainable business models and acquire the tools to make sense of the robustness of business models. You will learn to address the consultancy process, by discovering how to  answer the following key questions: how to grasp a business situation from a strategic perspective? How to deal with a strategic analysis in the appropriate way? How to identify key strategic business issues? How to structure recommendations and a strategic line? How to go from strategy to business modelling? How to design a sustainable business model? How to diagnose a business model potential? How to make an appropriate oral presentation on strategy and business model topics?  

Despite their promises and increasing popularity, M&A and Strategic alliances are not without risks and shortcomings. This course enables you to analyse in depth these two growth strategies and compare their merits vs. demerits.  You will learn to apply quantitative and qualitative analytical tools to foster your own ability and strategic thinking skills. This course will help you to pursue careers as managers, entrepreneurs or consultants.

This course helps you master the techniques that were developed by McKinsey, BCG and Bain and are systematically used by their consultants in their client engagements. These include pyramid thinking applied to both problem-solving and communication, quantitative techniques used in analysis, an ability to build upon ever-changing working hypotheses and to apply the Pareto principle to all aspects of the consulting work.

The course provides an overview of financial accounting concepts and practices, including a firm’s balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and disclosure notes. You will learn how to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and financial accounting data to make informed business decisions.

How to diagnose a company’s operating performance? How to leverage the key value drivers? How to design value creating investment, financing or distribution strategies? How to generate external growth inside the company and structure a buyout? These questions will be addressed in the advanced corporate finance course. You will learn to design sound financial strategies (i.e. regarding capital structure and dividend policy) consistent with market (investors and stakeholders) expectations and consistent with the company’s investment policy.

This course enables you to focus on the underlying determinants of an organization’s effectiveness or health— key aspects of organization behaviour shown to be linked with better financial performance. You will learn how to analyze a firm’s organization health, in order to make better (and evidence-based) recommendations. The simulation, “Human capital Challenge” will be used to augment the lectures and case discussions. The simulation will focus especially on the following aspects: Talent management Team leadership Engagement of team members. The link between human capital and overall strategy.

In a world that is constantly changing, managing change is a central concern for today’s managers and consultants. Yet, according to management experts, 70% of all change initiatives fail for numerous reasons such as internal resistance and distrust, difficulties in aligning the new strategic direction with extant capabilities of the firm and a lack of vision. This course enables you to examine personal and organizational approaches to dealing with change based on case studies and group activities.

This course enables you to better frame ethical issues related to business and the economy : you will master the techniques used in devising and writing high-quality case studies and delivering consulting projects in line with the high standards of the top consulting firms in strategy and management. The aim of the course is not to provide precise answers to specific questions, but to raise the awareness of how important these issues are in business.

Information Technology (IT) has become an essential resource for exchange and collaboration within and between firms.  Perceived as a valuable strategic weapon rather than a mere functional tool supporting business processes, IT creates new challenges. It is therefore necessary to acquire the capabilities that will allow you to understand the steps and the challenges that accompany the development of IT Strategy for companies.

This course will introduce you to the principles of operation management and how to balance strategic thinking and practical planning to achieve competitive success. You will learn about core topics within the operations management field including process design and capacity, inventory management, supply chain management, and lean management. The course focuses on the relationship between operations and financial management in an industry perspective.

Multinational companies are continuously targeted by nefarious organizations, as well as internal fraudsters, non-ethical competitors and fraudulent suppliers. Because economic crime management has become strategic for top managers, you will learn how to manage criminal risks from pure security solutions to strategic due diligence and sustainable development.  You will learn about risk management issues such as cybercrime, fraud, terrorism, corruption, money laundering, counterfeiting, piracy, and kidnapping.

Digital tools are changing the way businesses operate. This course provides the tools to understand the digital economy: digital and social media marketing strategy, web marketing, cross-channel marketing, digital communication; you will learn to analyze and evaluate digital marketing strategies in order to better apprehend the scope of the business.

Admission to the EDHEC Master programmes is highly selective. Normal entrance requirements include: a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited school, college, or university; academic excellence; superior scholastic potential (certified by GMAT, GRE, Tage Mage or CAT scores); and English language proficiency. Admission decisions are made on the basis of your overall profile as reflected in the application pack.

Successful  candidates come from a wide range of education backgrounds and experiences. They also display distinguished academic excellence, strong analytical skills, interpersonal competencies, international awareness, have proven motivation to undertake the programme, the capacity to make significant contributions to EDHEC Business School’s learning environment, and the potential to succeed as professionals, managers and leaders in the related field of study. The Selection Committee relies heavily on profiles, motivation letters, recommendation letters, and CVs.

EDHEC offers various scholarships & financial aids based on merit and financial need of the student. The French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs also offers a large number of grants and scholarships. Lastly, students accepted to EDHEC are entitled to apply for private loans to cover the cost of their tuition fees.

The EIFFEL Scholarship offers financial support to high-achieving international candidates. It awards about €1200 per month. The scholarship is financed and managed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development

What's the difference between the MiM and MSc?

  • The EDHEC Master in Management is a 2-year programme designed for students under 29 seeking to increase their general management skills. Also known as "Grande Ecole", the programme awards students a double degree: Year 1: Master in Management degree and Year 2: Master of Science degree
  • Our MSc are specialised programmes accessible to students who wish to acquire a new knowledge in a specific field or further strengthen their existing expertise.


Is there any help for students on campus regarding housing?

  • Once officially enrolled, you will be assisted to find a suitable accommodation either in the EDHEC residence or in privately owned flats. You will also have access to our Blackboard system in which you will find much needed information to prepare your move to France. EDHEC's International Office is familiar with the VISA formalities of most countries and will provide you with the necessary papers. You may contact the International Office to express your concerns about your visa application, provided you have already checked the necessary pages on the Welcome Guide and contacted your local Embassay first. One of the requirements for most VISA applications is proof of accommodation in France. Again the international Office is on hand to provide you with a list of apartments, halls of residence and other types of housing according to your criteria. You can even "visit" them virtually using our new Housing website. The team will do everything they can to make arrangements with the owner and secure your reservation. It will also pick you up from the airport on your day of arrival (when possible) and take you directly to your new home.

Is GMAT compulsory?

  • The GMAT test is compulsory. Applicants with a solid work experience may apply for a waiver. However, GMAT waivers remain exceptional.

Why is GMAT compulsory?

  • EDHEC is accredited EQUIS, AASCSB and AMBA. We are obliged to maintain high quality among students and the GMAT is a good measure of this quality.

Can I add an unofficial GMAT score report to my application file?

  • You will get an unofficial score report immediately after the test and which you sould send to the admissions office. This document will provisionally be accepted in your application file.

Can I send the application file and sit the GMAT later?

  • Yes, but you do need to indicate the test date that you have set in your application file In this case, your application file will be kept in a waiting file until receipt of your scores.

EDHEC offers scholarships and financial aid to candidates with excellent profiles. External financial aid is also available to EDHEC applicants.

What is the EIFFEL Scholarship?

  • The EIFFEL Scholarship programme offers financial support to high-potential candidates of over € 1000 per month. Applications for the EIFFEL Scholarship need to be submitted to EDHEC before December 1st.


When the tuition fees must be paid?

  • Once accepted by the Selection Committee, you will receive by email a tuition fees payment's schedule. You must make your first payment in order to secure your seat into the programme and get your enrolment letter.

How does the financial aid apply to the tuition fees?

  • Financial aid applies to the second and third instalment for the MSc programme and to the second, third and fourth instalment for the MIM programme.

What is the EDHEC Career Center?

  • The Student Career Centre is dedicated to help students find a job or an internship. The Centre receives every year over 14 000 job and internship offers.

Complementary courses in French are offered to all international students enrolled in our MSc programmes. Our French classes cover all learning levels, from complete beginner to advanced study. The goal is to support your acculturation to French culture and give you the linguistic foundation—grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening—to express yourself in the French language.
