The EDHEC Career Centre organises, for its third consecutive year, company treks in London.

EDHEC Financial Economics students traveled to London to get a first-hand experience of what it is like to work at some of the leading global enterprises.
During the Autumn break, around 40 Master 1, Gap Year and final year students were invited to join company treks to Blackrock, Bloomberg, Commerzbank, EDF Trading, HSBC, Leonteq, Moody's, and Tradition.
“We are constantly trying to find new ways of bringing students and companies together”, explains Fernanda Diaz, Career Centre Director for EDHEC Master Programmes.
The purpose of the treks is to facilitate networking and one-on-one interactions between the students and company line managers and HR representatives. Each trek lasts approximately 3 hours, including a networking breakfast or afternoon coffee, business presentations, and meetings with different business units. Some treks also include a visit to the trading floor, an exciting moment for those students craving for adrenaline.
“It is always a pleasure welcoming EDHEC students," says Jean-Paul Glarey, Business Manager, Commerzbank AG "Generally their preparation is good – with the proof being the number of EDHEC alumni in our team. The mix of international students is very nice.”
"I found EDHEC students all engaged and interested. They made a good impression." says Agnese Pataia, Analyst at Blackrock. "A couple of them had also attended BlackRock's presentation at the Finance Career Days on the Nice campus so I was really happy to see them coming back and motivated."
This initiative, first launched in 2015, proves to be a great success year after year.
