“Companies in the tech sector are increasingly looking for people with both hard and soft skills, so EDHEC’s MSc in Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence totally fit the bill for me. The idea was not to become a tech engineer overnight but to gain enough knowledge of these complex industries to be able to work in them. This is not something you usually get at a business school. At EDHEC, not only did we get a thorough industry grounding, but we also got hands-on experience of coding and software development at our crash course with Le Wagon Lille.

It was a challenging year but in a very good way! To see top recruiters in the tech industry get interested in my profile even before I graduated was a constant reminder that I was exactly where I needed to be. I wrote my Master's thesis on the launch of a cooking website, which I created with my friend and fellow EDHEC student Louis Chalret (MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation) to help people find quick and simple gourmet recipes. From what, we founded our company, Delictus, which sells food boxes containing recipe cards and all the delicious fresh ingredients you need to cook a fabulous dinner. We sell to consumers through mobile vendors in Paris (for example, at La Défense and near Métro stations) and are working on a business-to-business model. The journey won’t be a smooth one, but it sure is exciting!”
