It was a nice opportunity to see the environment and hear the ideas of practitioners, it allows us to get a stronger notion of what to expect when starting a career in this direction. We heard some visions on the future of the industry in Monaco and the opportunities that are present there.
We were received by several different people in the company. Each one gave us a presentation about their role in the firm and how they support the business. Learning from people with different responsibilities and perspectives, such as general management, risk management or fund management was a great experience.
It is helpful to see, first-hand, the different aspects that need to be taken into account when managing wealth. It is a nice complement to the theoretical foundation we gain in the classroom. And I was able to discover how the different techniques that we learn in our MSc are used in real-life. Finally, Monaco is a special regulatory environment, so it was very interesting to hear how this influences the business.
The CEO mentioned that the industry needs to attract talent that has an MSc profile like ours.
