“What impActs for my idea?” is the opening question for the 3rd TEDxAix conference showcasing 18 speakers from a host of different disciplines.

Open to all audiences, the day-long event attended by around 500 people is primarily a space for sharing and spreading new ideas, based on conferences, but also performances and activities.

You can discover the speakers for the 2017 edition on the TEDxAix2017 site now.

Emmanuel Métais, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, opened the conference: “EDHEC has always had a singular approach to learning. Our students are trained over the course of their studies to make a positive impact in their working lives, and why not also in the wider world? The theme of this third conference chimes particularly well with our “Make an impact” strategy, which serves as a real call to act and re-think ways of doing things.”

Since its inception in California in 1984, the TED phenomenon has expanded continuously. It now counts over 2,200 conferences worldwide and over 2 billion views on YouTube.

The concept? No more than 18 minutes to move, surprise and convince an audience that has probably never heard of the subject being discussed. Limited time to express and share powerful ideas in fields as diverse as technology, entertainment or design.
