EDHEC launches the Consulting for Future Generations Pedagogical Chair in partnership with Capgemini Invent

Extending their 14 years of collaboration, EDHEC Business School and Capgemini Invent signed the renewal of their partnership in the presence of Emmanuel Métais, Dean of EDHEC, and Laurence Metzke, Head of Human Resources, Capgemini Invent, on Thursday 28 September on the School’s Paris campus. The renewal of the partnership has led this year to the creation of the Consulting for Future Generations Pedagogical Chair, supported by the EDHEC Foundation.

The creation of the chair seeks to reinforce Capgemini Invent’s role in the School’s programmes and the company’s visibility during recruitment events. To help achieve these objectives, Capgemini Invent is underpinned by a Core Team, a network of some 60 EDHEC alumni who now work for the company. All in all, it counts over 150 former EDHEC students on its staff.

As part of the chair’s activities, EDHEC and Capgemini Invent will continue to co-develop customised pedagogical content, such as the Strategic Decision in Operations class for MSc in Strategy, Organisation & Consulting students, while also co-running unique immersive initiatives, such as the Sustainable Campus Challenge, the seminar held at the start of the 2023 academic year for Master 2 students. With guidance from Capgemini Invent consultants, the seminar tasked Master 2 students with devising solutions to make the EDHEC campus more ecological and more inclusive.

Elsewhere, Capgemini Invent will also continue to co-build pedagogical projects with different School programmes, such as the practical case on digital transformation professions offered by the GETT (Global Economic Transformation & Technology) track, and to organise the Consultant’s Journey workshop for the apprenticeship track.

Recruitment is the second facet developed by the Consulting for Future Generations Pedagogical Chair. Already in demand with students, Capgemini Invent will further enhance the visibility of its employer brand this year by participating in recruitment fairs, such as the EDHEC Forum, as well as in networking events, such as lunches with Master 2 programmes, and pedagogical competitions, like the EDHEC Open Innovation Challenge
