I began my education by attending a Liberal Arts high school in Italy. Before enrolling in the GETT Programme, I completed a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management at Bocconi University in Milan.
I decided to apply to the GETT Programme because it represented a great opportunity for my personal and professional development. It offered me the chance to immerse myself in three very different cultures and live in some of the most dynamic areas in the world while attending excellent universities and deepening my knowledge of technology and innovation, the business topics that interest me the most.
The two adjectives that best describe my journey on the GETT Programme are exciting and rewarding. Living, studying, and working in four different countries in less than two years has definitely been a challenge, but also an extremely fulfilling experience that has enriched me from an educational and personal point of view.
My experience in the GETT Programme has offered me countless learning opportunities, thanks to the very interesting classes, the insightful events and visits, and also the journey itself.
I think that the most useful skill I have acquired during classes is the ability to negotiate, which has already proven to be helpful and I am sure will come in handy many times in my professional life. The other key skill I have developed is adaptability, which is essential for this volatile and fast-changing time, especially for someone who wants to build an international career.
My first internship was at the BMW´s headquarters in Italy, while my current internship is at Porsche in Stuttgart (Germany). I am currently working with the Smart Mobility team, on an international project aimed at developing an innovative service that will consolidate Porsche´s position as one of the innovators in electro-mobility.
I am dealing with technology-related topics in a very dynamic and innovative environment, so my background has been extremely helpful for my everyday activities: from how to manage relations with different foreign markets to how to handle and overcome criticalities embedded in the subsequent phases of a project conceived from scratch.
Moreover, the knowledge acquired during my educational path has allowed me to join the team with the right mind-set and to appreciate how this project offers a strategic opportunity for the Company and is part of a new trend that is disrupting the automotive industry.
